Mason loved basketball and 8th grade was the last year he was able to play. The foundation presents the Mason Spencer Award at the end of each year to an 8th grade boys basketball player representing Mason like qualities. The winner is chosen by the coaches. Because Mason loved gift cards and took great pleasure in spending them, a $75 gift card is given for the award.
This years winner was chosen based on qualities like Mason such as always giving his full effort, being involved in various activities and a friend to all. He is fun to be around and is a great choice! The 2023 winner is Jake Myers.
